1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ledgr (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Ledgr is invoicing software designed for freelancers and small businesses in New Zealand. Features may change or improve over time.
3. Accounts & Responsibility
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for content you add (clients, items, invoices) and for GST settings and totals.
- If you share a device, others may access your account if your device/browser stays signed in.
4. Data & Privacy
We store account data and app data (e.g., invoices, clients, settings) in our database, hosted by Google Firebase. We handle your information per our Privacy Policy.
5. Payments
Paid plans, if enabled, are billed in NZD under the pricing shown in the app or on our site. Taxes (e.g., GST) are shown where applicable.
6. Acceptable Use
- No malware, scraping at scale, or attempts to bypass security.
- No unlawful, harmful, misleading, or spam content.
7. Intellectual Property
Ledgr’s name, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service except as permitted by law.
8. Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by NZ law, we disclaim warranties including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid (if any) in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Availability & Changes
We may suspend, modify, or discontinue features. We’ll try to avoid disruption, but availability isn’t guaranteed.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change; continued use means you accept the changes.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law. The NZ courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
